kuantan, compared to kl, subang jaya and jb, i noticed - has less sign boards, but not to the extend that one will not know the way, or get lost. my journey to kuantan from my parents' home took me 4hrs to cover 273.1km. the night journey was not as smooth as i hope it would be (the journey supposedly should take only 3 hrs) as there were many lorries on the road. but the drivers were all good drivers. they gave me signal when i can overtake them. how do i know? when it was not save for me to overtake, they flushed the right light and if it was save, they gave the left light. and i noticed, these drivers driving petronas tanks.
my new collegues were quite surprised that i managed to find my way alone. i owe my thanks to abcmalaysia and digai as they have a map of kuantan, although not that presice to my liking. what else? confidence i might add.
